Welcome
I am a Senior Data Scientist in the Research Scientific Computing group at Seattle Children’s Research Institute. My prior background is in plant population genetics and breeding. I also provided general bioinformatics support while working with HPCBio at the University of Illinois from 2019-2022. I am a developer of software for the genetic analysis of polyploid organisms. I earned a PhD in Genetics from UC Davis in 2011 and a BA in Genetics, Cell & Developmental Biology from Dartmouth College in 2004.
